Talking to myself money-wise

Hi Kiki Kho how are you? I'm doing great, thank you. What about you?

Enough of that now.

I got some exciting news. Well, not really. An internet marketer paid me an X amount of $$$ for my ancient and controversial How to Cheat on a Test video for me to advertise his website. I seriously thought it would be a scam, and I was lucky enough to even read his one single message out of my YouTube account -- I hardly EVER read my YT messages/comments, almost never!

A couple of days ago, I had a party that tipped me $50, but I only got half of it. How did that happen? Well, for any future guests at a restaurant: Never, I repeat, NEVER give your server's tip to another server and tell them to give the money to your server, alright? I knew my co-worker lied to me and said she could take half. I need not to go further on this topic. It's only $25 -- no biggie, but still that's good gas money.

Speaking of gas money, that's my only expense that I have. I feel that I'm lucky to have food, water and shelter above my head. I don't buy a lot of clothes, heck, I don't even remember the last time I went shopping. I'm not tempted to go either. I got a lot of food at home, and my only way to NOT spend money on food outside is just by having discipline. So really, gas is all that I pretty much pay for. Also, I'm living off of scholarship money for college.

If I still worked in my father's neurological clinic, I'd probably be so much richer now, but I just can't stand my dad! I see him enough at home already.

I resorted to a workplace that is not like your ordinary restaurant, but I'm not going to be there for the rest of my life! I'm trying to be confidential at this. I get paid more than minimum wage, plus averaging out $20-$50 tips per party. Let's play the guessing game. You'll never guess it, I bet! By the time I get out of college with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science, I want to work for, of course, the environment! Maybe the EPA of some sort. After 1 year I want to go back to school and pursue a masters.

And IF me and my boyfriend were to still be together, and all our scholastic plans are reached, he will be an aerospace engineer (designing aircrafts, possibly a pilot) and I will be the environmentalist of some sort. I can't wait to tranfer to XYZ university far far away. And I say XYZ because it's confidential. I was qualified to transfer there this fall, but I'd probably save $2,000 if I took 1 more semester at a community college here. It's an absolute sure plan that I'll be there by Spring 2011. And I'll be away from home for the first time.

Phew!
