Wow, Kiki is talking politics now?
I'm so incredibly upset that the healthcare reform bill passed by a narrow margin of 219 to 212 vote. Gladly, the healthcare reform bill will not be provided to all Americans...Unforuntately, it's a step towards that goal!
No no no no!
Over the past couple of months, I have been oblivious to all the crazy, heated TV debates going all over about healthcare, acting indifferent to all the commotion. I did not really feel the need to express my opinions about such a touchy feely subject. It wasn't until I started to "listen". After that, I am proud to say "NAY" to healthcare reform!
Many supporters of the healthcare bill may think that we Republicans are stingy with our money, and show no remorse to those suffering in the economy and having to pay TONS for hospital fees. Well, I got to say that our money is our money. The economy itself pays enough taxes to support the country, so why healthcare? When I see a video promoting healthcare - like a woman crying telling all the viewers that her mom had cancer and had no health insurance, and she couldn't afford it...etc, etc. Well, you know what? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't give a damn about them. Everyone dies and gets sick. If you want to thrive in the economy, get a better job. Better yet, go to school...whatever.
Yeah, I know the economy sucks, but doesn't everyone know that the economy undergoes a "natural" recession every 20 years? I know for a fact that our economy will regulate itself sooner or later. Take a look back into history - it's there. If you got laid off from a company, you got laid off for a reason, you probably lack the characteristics of the people that are still hanging on. If your whole company got out of business, then that just sucks. Do not rely on America to pay for YOUR issues.
The Government need not to mandate healthcare taxes JUST because of the damn economy. If people suffer, people suffer. Not my problem. Everyone will have their ups and downs. Everyone else who are thriving, or at least surviving in the economy should not be forced to pay for those below them.
If some McDonalds employee wanted to jump off the building because he/she thought it would be cool, but they ended up breaking a leg, do the responsible hardworking taxpayers have to pay for their health? No!!!
This attitude of allowing healthcare is just allowing the low-income fellows to just be LAZY and have the "America-will-just-pay-for-me" attitude.
I midas well live in a shack if that's how it is because AMERICA will pay for me.
Fools..
